About Bio-Defense Network

Bio-Defense Network is the nation’s leading public health preparedness consultancy specializing in Closed POD recruitment, emerging infectious diseases, volunteer recruitment, radiological response, pandemic planning, bio-terrorism preparedness and Operational Readiness Review preparation for local public health departments across the nation.  Bio-Defense Network’s efforts are at the intersection of public health preparedness and emergency planning and management. Successful programs have been conducted in Missouri, Texas, Arizona, California, Washington State, Nebraska and New York State.

Our Mission

Bio-Defense Network supports public health departments around the nation to better serve their constituents by assisting them with preparedness planning and helping them create powerful partnerships with members of their communities. Those partnerships may result in creating or expanding networks of Closed Points of Dispensing, adding new functions for volunteer groups and taking other actions to improve a community’s overall readiness and preparedness.
