Health IT Security reports that a hacker gained access to American Medical Collection Agency’s system, which contained a trove of personal information from its clients, including nearly 12 million patients of Quest Diagnostics.
The publication’s Jessica Davis says Quest Diagnostics is one of the largest blood testing companies in the US. According to a recent Securities and Exchange Commission
8-K filing, a hacker gained access to the system of billing collections vendor AMCA for nearly eight months between August 1, 2018 and March 30, 2019.
