The Washington Post reported that Baltimore still hasn’t been able to provide basic city services two weeks after a powerful ransomware attack, and a full recovery may take months.
What would happen if your facility was shut down for hours, days or weeks? What are you doing to protect against such a cataclysmic event? Probably not enough, we think.
Now’s the time to lean on your IT folks to make absolutely certain your devices have been patched and your firewalls are intact.
But probably more important is to train your staff — all of them — about the dangers of responding to emails that just don’t look right.
