Bio-Defense Network is once again honored to be co-sponsoring and presenting at the annual Public Health Preparedness Summit at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in mid-April. If you have attended past summits, you know the gathering provides an unprecedented opportunity to hear from national leaders in public health preparedness. If you have not attended the summit before, this will be an opportunity to meet colleagues from around the nation – and beyond – and learn how they are preparing to deal with emerging public health threats.
Bio-Defense Network has exhibited at the Summit since 2012, using the opportunity to introduce an array of local public health leaders who have partnered with us to dramatically improve their preparedness planning and activities.
This year we will be conducting two workshops at the Summit:
- Taking a Regional Approach to Creating Closed POD Networks, which will feature public health leaders from Houston, Seattle and Boston, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, April 14, Room M101 Marquis Level
- An Expert’s Approach to Expanding Closed POD Networks, featuring Bio-Defense Network founders Harlan Dolgin and David Reddick, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon on Thursday, April 16, International, International Level.
In addition, we will be exhibiting on Wednesday and Thursday, so we encourage you to stop by exhibit booth to say hello, learn about our new services, and enter for a chance to win a (item).
The Preparedness Summit is the premier national conference in the field of public health and healthcare preparedness and one of the only cross-disciplinary learning opportunities to address issues such as global health security.
We look forward to seeing you there!
