Bio-Defense Network is a national leader in Closed POD program development, and is offering a two-day workshop in mid-October to help local health departments improve their Closed POD networks.
Attendees to the workshop, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza – St. Louis Airport, will learn how to:
- Establish realistic Closed POD coverage goals
- Identify the largest employers and organizations in their community
- Understand from an organization’s perspective why it would want to participate
- Identify and reach out to champions within potential Closed POD partners
- Evaluate whether current Closed POD hosts could activate successfully
- Recognize and overcome potential roadblocks and workarounds
- Understand the Closed POD network lifecycle
- Create or improve their Closed POD plan and documentation
- Receive proven tools and techniques to use in their community
Early bird cost $595 until Sept. 5, when the price increases to $695. Fee includes airport transfers to and from St. Louis Lambert Field, two breakfasts and two lunches. Lodging is $108 per night, plus applicable taxes.
