Our presentation, “When it Comes to Closed PODs, Size Doesn’t Matter…Results Do!” will feature local public health officials from around the nation who have used the Bio-Defense Network to dramatically expand the number of residents covered by Closed Points of Dispensing. Our presentation will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9 in rooms 208 and 209.
Sarah Moore, emergency preparedness coordinator for Butler County (Ohio) Health Department attended our Public Health Preparedness Summit session last year, and here’s what she said about it:
“I went to the conference last year and attended a presentation by the Bio -Defense Network and St. Louis County. I was impressed by the expansion of the Closed Pod Network. I was brand new in my position and it definitely gave me some inspiration to expand our Closed POD program. I was able to more than double the number of Closed PODs in my county. I just wanted to let you know your presentation hit home with me.”
